Vehicles in German City Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Police stated they were alerted by a man who discovered a car in Hanau smeared with red-colored liquid

Around fifty automobiles have been covered with what seems to be blood from a person in the German city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Vehicles, building surfaces and postal boxes were defaced, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they announced in a statement.

Officers report they were notified late on Wednesday, when a man noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored fluid.

The fluid had been placed in the pattern of a Nazi symbol, they added.

Police then discovered multiple other vandalized automobiles and building exteriors in the surrounding area.

Swastikas are illegal in Germany under laws outlawing the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement report preliminary tests show the fluid was probably blood from a person.

"There is still no lead as to its origin; officials are presently not cognizant of any injuries in connection with the occurrence," they commented.

City officials said they were trying "to resolve the mystery" and have requested to the residents for details.

A high-ranking representative commented the incident made him speechless and required to be addressed rapidly.

"This event hits the center of Hanau and reopens the trauma of the right-wing attack half a decade ago," he wrote on online, mentioning the killing of nine individuals by a assailant targeting people of foreign heritage in February 2020.
