In a bizarre collaboration that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited rituals and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret group.

The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Changes

The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a striking scene showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
